Dr. Miccio is the Medical Director of All Creatures Great and Small. She received her BS from Cornell University and her Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin, School of Veterinary Medicine. She has practiced at All Creatures for more than 27 years. She currently shares her Suffern home with two cats, Max and Merlin and her dog Markeeta. Dr. Miccio has cared for a variety of animal patients including: sugar gliders, dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, mice, hamsters, rats, lizards, turtles, & more in her years at All Creatures Great and Small Animal Hospital.
Dr. Ilan Rachleff joined all All Creatures in April of 2016. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012, and previously practiced in New York City. He recently relocated to Rockland County with his wife, Laura, after the birth of their first son. They share their home with a Boston Terrier, Tiki (named after all time great Giants running back Tiki Barber). He is very excited to meet all the wonderful owners and pets who visit All Creatures! Dr. Rachleff has a special interest in internal medicine and in furry and scaly exotics.
Dr. Mary Elizabeth Geary joined All Creatures in November 2016. Dr. Geary graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 (Go BUCKS!). Following graduation, she worked for the United States Army as a civilian veterinarian caring for military working dogs and pets of military families. She and her husband relocated to Westchester County in the fall of 2016 and she is excited to be a new member of the All Creatures team! Her professional interests include dermatology, endocrinology, and wound management. In her spare time, Dr. Geary enjoys hiking, painting and spending time with her husband and their three cats.
Dr. James Melendez is a native New Yorker and practiced veterinary medicine in the East Village of New York City for several years. He is a member of the NYS Veterinary Medical Association, and the AVMA. Dr. Melendez is bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish. He has worked closely in the past with various rescue organizations, such as City Critters and rescue organizations on the island of Puerto Rico. He has a strong passion for birds and presently volunteers his time at the Wild Bird Fund. He shares his home with his two Cats Phoebe and Mittens and an assortment of pigeons, which range from ornamentals, to flying birds as well as rescues cases.
